Project Genesis
Project Genesis represents a new beginning and a new chapter in Joyce’s musical journey. It features five original compositions White Nile, INGIA, Resonance of Identity, For Hawa, and Home. This initiative is both musical and community-driven, rooted in themes of new beginnings, healing, and the concept of home. Joyce draws inspiration from her South Sudanese roots, blending jazz with elements of African music, gospel, and R&B to create a sound that is both authentic and transformative.
More than just an EP, Project Genesis is a movement, a call to action that aims to use music as a tool for healing, representation, and impact. The vision is to raise awareness and resources to support children, youth, and young adults in South Sudan through education, creativity, music and community empowerment.
While the original trip has been postponed, the journey continues with intention. Our new projected trip date is Winter 2026–2027, allowing time to build sustainable initiatives and meaningful partnerships.
Stay tuned for the official launch event and upcoming fundraisers and drives leading up to this mission.
All funds raised will be transparently managed and directed toward:
• Providing school supplies and educational support for youth in South Sudan
• Covering travel and project expenses to bring Project Genesis directly to the communities that need it most
While we are not yet a registered nonprofit and cannot issue tax receipts, transparency and accountability remain at the core of our mission.
Thank you for helping us amplify new beginnings.
